Nice work on this post. I really appreciate the range of topics and your perspective on things. I am a big Seinfeld fan, but the first episode I ever saw was the series finale. I wonder if we have the beginnings of something similar here.
A few notes:
1) 30 under 30: I have my own angst about this award and people who have received it. I was definitely entertained by your rant, especially the way you ended it. The way I deal with feeling left out is to say, "Peaking early sucks and my constellation of stars is not yet complete. The best is yet to come."
4) Holiday Season: sounds like you need to unplug. My wife taught me how to knit.
5) Winning 2020: I am so glad that this was a positive video and the guy didn't fall. For me the line that captures 2020 is: "All Americans think they'll become a billionaire one day, but somehow won't get COVID."
6) Animal Circus Cookies: I never liked these things and that made me very aware of how omni-present they were back in the day.
7) Instagram: I agree with you, but I think your frustration is related to the people using it (both yourself and "the youth" of today) and how they have changed, not the app itself. It seems like selfie culture has taken over and Social Media value isn't about capturing moments, but rather quantifying reactions to moments.
